Why this campaign?
Financial discrimination is one major limitation when trying to enter and pursue academic dreams.
With you as an official Sponsor, we will be able to address this issue and make academia more accessible.
How can we accomplish this? Following a series of donations, we will establish the non-profit OpenAcademics Financial Program to support students and promote equality through stipends. Please find more information further down this side, and consider donating via our GoFundMe campaign.

By conducting a survey, it is clear that students are forced to pay many fees to be able to apply to undergraduate and graduate/medical programs. The fees most commonly range between $200-1000 or more, depending on the country of origin and location of the programs. Many students are unable to pay these fees. Until such times when application fees and test requirements have been removed, these students need YOUR help! We need your help to ensure equity and justice! Any and all donations will help.
Purpose it to provide financial support for application fees for undergraduate and graduate/medical programs, and fees associated with tests such as GRE/MCAT (or equivalent).

Once the goal has been reached, the money will be transferred to an account dedicated for the OpenAcademics Financial Assistance program. Members of our OpenAcademics community will be able to apply for aid (fixed amount of $200). Priority should be given those applicants who might struggle to find financial support elsewhere due to discrimination. Applications to request aid will open once the goal has been reached.
Non-profit, all proceeds will be used to support students.
